This study assists the Branding Working Group (BWG) in defining the market access demands for specified product attributes and developing a market-oriented narrative to explain them. A final report provides industry and governments with information they could use to explain to seafood buyers how the sector is committed to living up to the brand promise with respect to five main attributes and in line with the overall Canada Brand.

This study provides decision makers, planners, industry and the general public with measures of the relative economic importance of Canada�s Maritime Sectors. The study estimates the economic contribution of the maritime sectors to Canada and to the three main marine regions within the country � Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic.

This review provides DFO with an independent assessment of progress in achieving the goal and objectives of the WSP, and also provides guidance on actions that may be taken to improve the implementation process and enhance its effectiveness. The study determines the extent to which progress has been made in implementing Strategies and the associated action steps. It assesses the extent to which work done with respect to strategies has contributed to the WSP goal and objective. The study identifies any internal/external factors and challenges/barriers influencing the success of the WSP and provides recommendations to further advance WSP implementation in the context of DFO�s existing resources
